WHEN YOU ARE ON THE LORD’S SIDE

Anchor verse: Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit (Jeremiah 17:7-8:)

Oh what a beautiful place to be!

When you get on the Lord’s side, favour and miracle becomes your daily experience. You are sure to win on every angle. You know why? Because The Lord of lord’s will be committed to make your life an epitome of His goodness.

The Levites experienced it in the land of Israel. From being under a curse by their father Jacob, they became a descendant of honorable priests unto God.

Joseph experienced it. He was crowned the second in command in the land of Egypt – a country he went into as a slave.

Daniel experienced it. The plot to have him devoured by some angry lions was annulled. Instead, he found favor with God and was among the rulers in the land of Babylon. . 

You see, God is God. He is unchangeable. He can never fail anyone who has taken the bold step to stand separated for Him. 

Hebrews 13:8 states – Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. 

Don’t be discouraged if you are on the Lord’s side but things are not working as smoothly as you may want them to work out now. Do not shift your stand. God cannot lie. He will come through for you. Keep your faith alive through the word of God and prayer.

The Psalmist declares – I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. (Psalms 37:25)
