I WANT TO WORK THROUGH YOU.

Anchor Scripture: For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13)

The story of the Vine and the Branches in John 15:1-5  is so instrumental in understanding the role we play in the mission of God on earth. You and I are God’s branches, designed to express Him in many dimensions where the need arises.

God has endowed us with diverse gifts and fruits. These gifts are needed to bring forth God’s glory in the world. He is the Vine, we are the branches. Without the branch, the tree cannot bear fruits. The branch (You and I) are the integral part of the purposes God has for humanity.

As a branch in this present world, God wants to:

• Show Love to others through us.
• Intercede for the lost souls through us. 
• Preach the gospel to sinners through us.
• Counsel and encourage the weary through us.
• Disciple young Christians through us.
• Heal the sick through us.
• Sing melodies through us.
• Help the needy amongst us
• Lead in the marketplace through us

No matter how little, allow God to work through you in the fulfilment of His divine mandate for the world. He can’t do it without your permission. Would you allow him?

The Spirit of the Lord is saying,; I want to work through you. Would you let me?
